We used to joke about putting a camera on Kimber to see what she sees. This video does a great job of capturing a lab's love of the ocean! Dog-cam captures an excited Labradors epic run to the beach and into the water. | Dogs | Happy Place

Coming through, hot soup! That's about what my dogs would look like if I let them off that far away from the water. Where did they have the camera mounted, on the dog's butt?
Funny!

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Saw this on reddit last night, If I lived there I'd be running like that too.
that's great!
That is wonderful!!
That definitely captures the spirit of a lab!
My first male Lab, Clancy LOVED water. If there was a puddle within 100 yard, he was in it. My parents lived on Windmill Point, VA, right on the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. We would go down there about once a month to visit. It was a 5 plus hour drive down there, and Clancy would sleep most of the way. About 5 miles from Mom's house I'd see Clancy's head in the rear view mirror, ears all perked up and ready to go. Didn't matter what time it was, light, dark, day, night. As soon as we pulled in the driveway, the whining would start. I'd open the back of the van and he'd make a bee line for the beach, straight into the water. The last time we took him down, he was 10 years old, in congestive heart failure, and not doing to well. Upon arrival it was the same thing, he swam for about 10 minutes in the pitch dark at 11pm. He came up from the beach, a bit slow, but with the biggest grin on his face. I think for those few minutes he was a puppy again. Sadly, he passed away a few weeks later, but I knew in my heart that last weekend at my Mom's was his best ever.
Thanks so much for sharing this.
So fun. Loved it.
