yeah, no, get over it. the dog is a dog, and probably already forgot that she might have been jealous for a minute.
I know I am humanizing the dog again. I try really hard not to, as it seems a shame to do that to her. Last night Cori had her obedience class and did really good. After the class, I asked the instructor if I could meet her dogs and she brought them out. Cori and one of the dogs immediately didn't get along and snapped at each other. I really wanted to meet these dogs, so I isolated Cori in a gated area while I petted them and got to know them, for about 15 minutes. Afterward, Cori seemed really sad and "down." I think I hurt her feelings, made her feel like she did something wrong. Even this morning, she is pretty much ignoring me and keeping to herself. I feel really bad about it.

I initially thought I hurt chili's feelings a few times...now I know thats highly unlikely.
Don't be so hard on yourself. Roxy gets mad at me too sometimes, but she always gets over it fairly quickly. Dogs are very forgiving, unlike humans.

Cori will get over it. I get the same response after being with "other" dogs and come home. I get a sniff, a look and they walk off. Does not take long for them to get over it.
