Our precious Harley Davidson went to heaven yesterday morning. He was diagnosed with CHF one week ago. With medication and a special diet, he seemed to be improving. Yesterday morning, he took a turn for the worst and died before we had time to put him out of his suffering. Our vet said he blew a valve and had a massive heart attack. Harley was 11 years old and was rescued from a shelter in Atlanta when he was less than one year old. He brought such joy and love to me and my family. Please remember me in your prayers. I can't get that haunting picture of him gasping for breath out of my mind.

I'm so sorry. Hopefully memories of fun and loving times will soon replace the vision of his last moments. His well-lived, well-loved lifetime is a wonderful legacy.
