This is why my dogs are never left outside without me

A client came in Friday with her dog not acting right. We did blood worm and it was all messed up. The dog ended up passing away. Yesterday they brought Thier other dog in with the same symptoms.

Vet is pretty sure they either got into something like rat poision or something.

This is why I never leave my dogs out by themselves. Today I was out with them and found these huge mushrooms growing. I've seen many dogs die or need to be hospitalized bc they ate mushrooms the owner didnt know we're out there.

Gauge would have ate them for sure if I hadn't found them. We also have stray cats and there have been times I've found pork bones.

My property's not fenced so I couldn't let Opie out if I wanted. The chihuahuas would be coyote bait so they wouldn't be let out either.

Oh gosh! Bacon is always with us if hes outside, even inside. I have heard too many horror stories of poisoning and obstructions.

Wow. Scary stuff. Mocha is never out by his lonesome. We are always together, inside and outside. Yeah, we're overprotective!

    Poor dog.

Am always out with Mardi and Archie. Have to keep a close eye on Mardi, making sure she does not stay out too long and she is moving OK. Archie would be into mushrooms in a heartbeat. Reminds me, we are getting rain today to tomorrow I'll be on mushroom hunt.

I echo the statement - I am always outside with my dog. We just were having a new back door installed and someone asked me if we wanted to have a doggy door on the door (it goes out into a fenced yard) - I said heck no!!! If my dog needs to go outside, I will be there with him!!!

That is awful! Mine don't even go out for a quick pee break alone. It is just not worth it.
