It does sound like teeth problems but a vet visit is your best bet. You could try soaking the kibble to soften it when you feed tonight or get some canned until you figure out what is going on. Good thoughts for Jonah!
Good Afternoon,
Jonah is at it again - I noticed 10 days ago when we were playing that his gums were bleeding, but didn't think too much about it, other than his breath is awful, but what dogs isn't. Anyway, he had another bout of diarrhea last night, and has been very careful eating his food lately (completely out of the norm). This morning after going outside, he didn't even touch his hard food. We were immediately concerned, he did however eat cottage cheese, bread and peanut butter...We gave him a bone for an example, and he was very deliberate at trying to get it in his mouth.
I come home for lunch and to make sure he's OK, and he has vomited all his food up from last night onwards. Now, should I be concerned that there could be an obstruction somewhere, or could this be a bad tooth that needs taken care of ASAP and the pain/stress made him vomit?
I have a vet appointment tomorrow afternoon, just trying to get some insight, as well as if the board thinks I should feed him some rice right now to get some food in him.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the response - your dog in that picture is nearly a twin of Jonah.
It sure sounds like tooth to me....and pain could cause enough distress to result in vomiting.
Good luck.
Does sound like a tooth.
Archie came to us with very bad teeth and it's amazing to see how he eats now compared to before. Normally, a dog's breath is really not that bad, at least to us dog lovers, LOL.
Good luck. Keep us updated please.
Update - Jonah is not well. Vet said he is in kidney failure and the prognosis varies depending on how he takes to the IV's and everything they are giving him the next couple days. Hopefully everything will regain strength and he will get back to somewhat of a normal life.
Oh geez....so glad you got him in to the vet fast.
Many good thoughts from me that he'll turn around and get back to normal.
I am so sorry.
Prayers sent for Jonah and his loved ones.
It's so hard when you love them so much.
