    Mardi Gras

Sometimes I get myself to tears wondering how much longer Mardi will be with us. Some days she's great, other's not so much. It always shocks me looking at pictures of her how grey she's gotten. Really does not show up as much on the yellow, but I know it's there.

    Such a sweet girl.

Her coat may not be the perfect lab coat. She's soft and velvety. She's so great to snuggle with.

You're right Archie, this is not it's all cracked up to be.

    I love you sweetie.

She may be getting up there but she's still a beauty. I hope she with us for a long time

I hate those thoughts and do understand. You deal with it so often housing seniors, my heart just aches for you. I admire your strength and preserverance, very much. Enjoy each day with your beautiful girl, I pray there are many more for you.

I love that last pic. Nothing wrong with being a little grey, she still is a sweety.
