Bacon had an awesome weekend. We are getting all of our things ready for Duck opener on September 27. This will be Bacon's first hunt, and our first hunt in a new spot, and in our new boat. On Thursday, we went out to scout our new spot. Temperatures have gotten to the low 40's and 50's, so with wind it was pretty cold on the lake. Bacon and I bundled up on the boat. He loves the boat so much!
We also finally felt like we could get him his hunting vest now that he is starting to plateau in weight. My pup looks like a dog from a magazine! He loves to swim in it too! Seems to keep him warm
