    Antlers

I ordered a new antler for Sam from a company called Mountain Dog Chews. Here's their website Elk Antler Chews | Premium Dog Treats & Gear | Mountain Dog Chews Sam absolutely loves his new antler. I got him the large split antler and it was huge. The quality is much nicer than any I've found around here. It was a little pricey but Sam is one happy pup so I don't mind so much. The first day he got his new antler he even insisted on bringing it to bed with us! I enjoyed reading the back story of the founder of the company. He graduated from UVA which is where my son goes to school.

Awesome! I've always been wary of ordering them online but hearing from other real live people always helps!

chili loved his elk antler too. After his 1st antler was stolen by a neighbors dog, I gave him a deer antler but he chewed that up way to quick compared to the elk antler. I need to get him another antler.

You can only give elk antlers when they have their adult teeth, yes? I got a deer antler for Barley, who is 4 1\2 months and he loved, then left it, then loved the dishrag, then loved my shoe, then the antler again, then the deck railing, etc....

I don't have any antlers around now because Patches, my 20# Border Collie mix got a slab fracture on a molar while chewing one. Had to have it removed. They both love them though!
