You know Oban had Folliculitis and all his guard hairs fell out. They are coming back in and this evening as he lay splayed out on his back, immodestly letting it all hang out, I happened to notice it's quite interesting how his tail guard hairs are qrowing on his tail. They are growing from the top and sides but not the bottom. And they're wrapping around his tail in opposing directions and haven't yet met along the bottom middle and there's a seam along there. Or maybe it's a ditch or I don't know what to call it but I got some photos and I hope you can see the seam. The hairs are coming in more at the base of his tail and the seam or ditch where they don't quite meet together yet is more obvious there. It's wierd.

Interesting, the part about how they are growing back in. He needs a little more growth in the bikini area or it may be a long cold winter.
Can you see the seam? It looks lighter in a strip along his tail. There is soft, fuzzy undercoat there, it's not bare skin as the light reflection makes it seem.

I see it's (fur) coming back in. Poor guy.
