    Home Never Felt So Good

YEAH, home! Had another x-ray and visit from my regular doctor and the urologist. Stone could not be found but a lot of swelling, irritation and bleeding spots at the base of the kidney so the stone was there. It's anyone's guess where it is. X-ray today did not show it. Maybe, just maybe it passed.

Have a stent that will stay in a minimum of 2 weeks until the kidney and ureter have a chance to heal. It's really weird feeling. I'm sore as heck.

Both Mardi and Archie went nuts when I walked through the door, make me feel so good. First thing done was to get a shower and get the hospital funk off.

DH is off to pick up a slew of prescriptions and I expect each day to be better than the next.

Some of my posts were not too coherent, blame the pain meds. As soon as DH picks up the meds, I'll be back on them. The heavy duty pain med they gave in the hospital was horrible. Yep, it took away the pain but wow, looped me out so much along with making for an upset tummy.

    Now on to healing.

Thank you all so much for the support. It really kept me going.

Glad to hear you are home and on the mend, although the stent sounds very uncomfortable. Take good care of yourself. I'll be thinking good thoughts for you.
