Dad, I got nothing to play with.

So last night after supper I was in the kitchen cleaning up and I seen Hemi running back and forth between the living room and back room. He does this a lot especially when he gets in the mood with a toy he will shake it in one room run by me hoping I will chase him, then run by again. Usually when he figures out I am not going to chase him he will come in and throw the toy on the floor in the kitchen and snort. So I didn't pay really close attention to what he was doing. Nor that every time he ran by he had a different toy.

I get all done loading the dishwasher and everything and come around the corner to the living room and this is what I see. A pouting lab all bored cause there's nothing to play with. Yeah he is spoiled, sad part that's only about half his toy box. He is looking around cause I said, "What Happened In Here!!"

Lol, he is such a character! Do you make him clean up his toys in the evening, before bed? I do this with my 2, Emma often cheats and just wanders around but Maxx loves to clean up. It is how he learned the names of many of his toys.

We don't do it every night. Usually every couple nights when I sweep. He is slowing down now a little bit but when when he was 2 and under, clean up was a waste of time. I got enough time to sweep mainly because he likes playing with the sweeper and then the toy box was emptied again within 2 hours. Now he gets out just what he wants to play with at that time.

But we did clean that up. I use his laundry basket that he helps me do laundry with and then he picks up his toys and puts them in there and then he drags it back to his toy box, I dump them in. Then he looks for one to drag right back out. But only one.

Hemi, will your Dad every learn! Ugh, humans are so hard to train. And what is with your Dad's statement, you are spoiled. I can still see floor so obviously you don't have enough toys.

Archie has toys out all the time. When I go to vacuum, they get picked up. He immediately starts taking them all out, sigh. Makes me laugh every time.
