Mojo for Cookie please!

When it rains, it pours!

Cookie has been a little slow since Sunday, but since he is eating normally and happy to go for walks, I didn't pay much attention to it.

This morning, for some reason, I decided to watch closely his urine colour. Since it's been unusually warm this past week, I suspect ticks are out and about again (although I haven't found any on Cookie). First pee - normal (he marks, so he pees many times during the walk). After a couple of minutes - dark red. What? I thought I made a mistake. We go on with our walk. It turns bright orange.

I know it's not a tick. With babesiosis, it's dark red, the colour of Coca Cola, not bright orange. And it doesn't change colour.

We're off to the vet as soon as I get home from work. Please send some good thoughts. I am suspecting an UTI but am pretty much freaking out right now.
