Are You Getting the Wild Weather Swings?

Two days ago it was 0.2 C here in the morning, we had a heavy frost, the squash and other tender leafed things just dropped to the ground and died. They are winter squash so the squash themselves are ok as they benefit from a good frost to develop their flavour. Today it's supposed to go way up to 22 C and feel like 28 (~83 F). Yuck.

my chilis are coming in, both citrus are doing good, hoping for an orange or two in spring.

So yes, while swings in temp for you. ;-)

Anyway someone near Snowshoes climate. Yes, same here. Frosted the other night and leaves are all turning. I got the RV in the drive winterizing it and had the furnace going in it while I was working in there. Then I really considered turning the air conditioning back on last night. However looking at the weather forecast for next 10 days it is going back down rapidly.

oh yeah.... pulled the A/C out of the window last week, figured that was it....now this, supposed to feel like 81 this afternoon! thats nuts! had gone and plugged in the heater for the rv so it wouldn't freeze up last week, now turning it off for the rest of this week. Sheesh. of course by next week when i need to use the rv, it will have gotten back down to freezing again.
