    Favorite Scary Movies

With Halloween soon approaching, what are peoples favorite scary movies? We love (and by love, we mean get scared and pull bacon up on the couch with us) the Paranormal activity movies, The Conjuring (scariest thing I have ever seen), and Halloween. Any favorites?

The Shining, Salem's Lot and The Sentinel.

I haven't seen a movie that really scared me in a long time, though I do love watching scary movies. That's probably why all my fave's are from when I was a kid and they were actually scary to me.

Wait, I have to take that back. The Descent scared the crap out of me because I couldn't imagine crawling around in those tiny little caves. I'm terribly claustrophobic.

The conjuring was a great movie besides the doll parts. Will not go see Annabelle unless I never want to sleep again. Dolls scare the heck out of me. The others was another favorite. I like more of ghost type scary then massacur bloody killing everyone scary. The ring also creeped me out.

I agree with this the Paranormal movies are awesome. Not many movies scare me, I love horror movies ever since I was a kid. I used to stay up late on weekends and watch Elvira after dark creature features. However the Paranormal movies disturbed me. I wouldn't say scared but watching them alone in the dark, there were a few times I found myself gripping the edge of the couch and the newer ones going, Hey Hemi come here and sit by daddy.

Then one that will always have a special place in my heart, Stephen King movie 1408. It wasn't really popular, I thought it was only semi scary, however, I will never forget watching this movie in the theater. I went in to the Matinee, I sat kind of in the middle the theater was pretty much empty. maybe 20 people. This very elderly couple came in and chose to sit down right next to me, I think they were on a date. I was like really? The whole theater was pretty much vacant you can sit anywhere but now I am sharing an armrest with this lady. I refuse to move though. Well, half way through the movie. A really scary spot the lady jump and grabbed on to me for dear life. Much to the chagrin of her date. I really think this guy was trying an old school trick taking the lady to a horror show so she would grab on to him. Instead she grabbed on to me. Made me laugh but I will never forget that movie.
