We packed a picnic lunch and scouted our favorite camping spots yesterday. I wanted to do a dry run to see how the trails faired in the recent monsoon storms here in AZ before hitching up my travel trailer and going. They are all ok so we are planning a camping trip soon especially since there is phone reception now out there. Opie and I walked quite a ways and snapped a couple pics, (he's such a cam-ham). We had a great picnic and on our way out a huge 8 point buck came running along side of the truck then crossed right before us and was gone into the desert before I could grab my camera and get the window down, dag nabbit!! Sure hope he doesn't do that in a few weeks to someone else, he'll end up in someone's freezer at deer season. Lol
