    Puppy size

    Hello all

Pebbles is really getting along fine she is a very smart puppy. My new pup is a border collie / lab / maybe springer mix. The shealter said she was a lab/border collie but the vet has told me her spotted paws could mean springer.
I am just curious on how long does a puppy grow she is already 5 months old. I wonder how much more will she grow. She weighs in at 27 pounds.

In my experience they grow super fast till 7-8 months and then growth slows down a lot. My bet would be she'd be no more then 40 lbs.

I like the rule of take the weight at 16 weeks, double it, and add up to 0-5 lbs for final weight .... for girls. No idea the rule for boy dogs.

I guess she will end up being less than 45lbs but more than 40lbs .... just a wild guess.

Welcome! looking forward to pictures. Her size will really depend on how much lab she has in her. No matter her size, I am sure she is wonderful!

    Welcome and congrats

remembers unless they saw the mom the breeds are really just "guesses" and it is very hard to tell at that age. I wouldn't let something like spotted paws lead to a breed guess

I have a 1/2 Lab, 1/2 BC, she is 9 years old. Emma has weighed about 60 - 65 lbs her entire adult life. She is extremely smart, she can run circles around many humans, lol! She really is a great girl and the best of both breeds.
