    over night petsitting

This weekend for a friend for Friday til Sunday and I've never been away from the dogs this long. I'm having such anxiety bc last time I left them just overnight with my husband and my house looked like a bomb went off and I'm lucky they got let out. He said the dogs wouldn't even poop for him.

So am I crazy that on Sat I'm going to make an hour trip so 2 hours round trip to come home for a few hours on Saturday to check on them. I'll miss them too so its not just to check on them. If thier one dog wasnt a new shepherd rescue I would be able to take Gauge with me. She's a work in progress but not quite there yet.

No. You're not crazy. I would probably do the same thing and go home to make sure everything's ok. I have only been away from Sam one night and I had to call the kennel twice while he was there. They must have thought I was wacky!

Bacon has never spend a night away from us. I would be the same way. The kennel would get so annoyed with me calling so much!

I would be a mess and going home to check in is far from crazy, at least in my eyes.
