No....raccoon, fox, groundhog, rabbit, deer....and probably some species I don't even know about....but never dog.
On the other hand, two of my Labs ate the poo of other dogs in the house (and their own/each others').
This isn't going to be a very appropriate post or for polite company. But here goes...I came home at lunch, put the dogs outside to go, let them back in, smelled something, noticed my little rat terrier foster (had her 3 years, sometimes I call her "my dog", but not today) had brown spots all over her. She had rolled in DOG POO!!!! Needless to say, she is in the basement until I get home and can bathe her. Have you ever heard of an animal rolling in her own species' poo? I know labs tend to roll in grosse stuff, but for me this is a new one.

Yes, I've experienced that (another ugh), but never rolling in it.
This golden that I watch every once in a while like to roll in her own poop. She's a strange dog though so it's not unheard of. haha
Nope, only other species poop. I told a friend once that if I had to choose between a poop roller and a poop eater that I thought the latter would be easier, just avoid their breath. And then I got one who was smart enough to roll first because then there was usually still enough horse poop left to eat.
Guess we know what your job is now. All that touching your toes is good for you, you know.
yes i have heard of it. some just love rolling in anything. or maybe it was an accident

Not their own, but Lynn kinda liked other dogs' "perfume", and, unfortunately human crap was on top of the hit parade - simply disgusting. I must say, knock on wood, really lucky with Mel though; she's tried it just once in 16+ months, but I managed to correct her in time.

Could she have been rolling for another reason, and accidentally ended up in a spot with poop? Tux loves to roll around on his back, and I can see this happening.
Oh Yuck! And I thought poo eating was bad.
