    Would Your Lab Do This?

I cracked up laughing. Bobby would totally pull this stunt.

    Would yours?

Luckily, no. My current little black gal, Sunshine, would RUN to me. All I have to say is "Ok, see ya later." and turn to walk away and she would be on me in a second. She knows I go to a lot of really fun places and she isn't going to miss out on that for anything!

My last black gal, not so much. She wouldn't have slammed down the food, she would take her time and enjoy it, going dish to dish. With her selective hearing she would not hear me call until she double checked each dish to make sure she got everything.

That isn't to say that Sunshine does not like to eat! Feeding time is 4:00 am and 4:00 pm. She is still getting used to the time change and will come over with the big, sad 'Ol rootbeer eyes around 3:00. She will stare at me for 30 seconds or so and if I do not respond, the paw starts to come up on your leg to remind you she is there and needs something. In the morning she does what I call the bulldozer. She hops up on the bed and puts her head on the pillow, against mine. Every minute or so she pushes tighter and tighter, slowly pushing my head off the pillow.

Woodrow Woodchuck - I love your Sunshine stories, she makes me laugh and warms my heart each time! Thank you for sharing her and her lovable antics!

That was so funny! And yes, my Maxx would absolutely do the same thing, he LOVES food and is pretty sure he is in a constant state of starvation. I could get Emma to do this in a hot minute. She could care less about food most of the time.

Danny would come to me without faltering.

I'm pretty sure Sunnie would be stopping at the food....not so much the toys, but she might even investigate those.

What!?!? Would you bypass a thick juicy BBQ'd steak or a chocolate shake to vacuum or do yard work?

Mardi would definitely empty every bowl and search for scraps before coming to me, if I was yelling TREAT!

Archie has and continues to have a great recall. In recall class he actually passed up an open can of cat food and B-lined it to me.

Sophie wouldn't make it past the first piece of food with out stopping. Bruce might make it half way, but he is only 8 months old!!! Give me a year and maybe I could get him all the way!
