There are so many things I am thankful for this year.
The family is healthy.
No more stones!!
The weather cooperated, little bit of snow on the grass, roads clear.
Thankful for all my lab board friends, skin and fur.
Thankful for Potion, our first lab, who set us on the journey of discovering how special senior labs are and the joy they bring. Melody and Bandit followed, deepening our love of the breed. Mardi joined the family with her love of life and Mardi Gras personality. Then out of the blue, Archie wagged his tail into my heart.
Now it's time to eat. Brunch is ready so dive in!

Happy thanksgiving to you too Fran! I bet you're thankful no more stones! Glad you're back to good health for the holidays! Brunch looks delicious! I have a bunch of breakfast food here for this morning but I'm all cooked out today. We had 15 people for dinner yesterday. That was the largest group I've had in a long time. My brother and his family made it from the Philadelphia area. He is divorced and usually has to stay home because the kids split the holiday between him and their mother but last year they changed things up and the kids alternate holidays so they were with him this year. It was so nice having little ones around. My nephew adored Sam! Sam hasn't been around little ones very much but did really well. He followed the kids around dropping toys for them to play with him. It was so cute. Sam quickly realized that it takes the kids a lot longer to tire out than the big people!
