My OH Really Likes Dogs, But... A Laugh for You

I was busy, OH took Oban this morning.

    Did you meet anyone?

Yes, a man and a little dog. Oban and the little dog seemed to know each other. The little dog wanted to follow Oban.

    What little dog?

Oh, I don't know. It was little.

    What did it look like?

A poodle. Or maybe a Jack Russell.

At this point the obvious next questions from me would have been about coat and colour but since he can't tell the difference between a poodle and a JR I gave up. LOL. I've never seen a little poodle down the trail and no JR for years. Oban and I have met little Sophie. Part Yorkie, she is, and looks Yorkie.

LOL. That's too funny. Kind of like mine. He classifies all dogs he sees as Labs or NotLabs.

Lol, I have the same issue with my DH. Not only can he not tell what the breed is if not Lab, he can never remember their names if he talks to the owner or the dog is at one of his job sites. His descriptions can often be so random it leaves me shaking my head!

hm....wonder who it really was? in the next week or so, you'll meet the person on the trail, and they'll say they say your DH with Oban the other morning... wonder if it was as small as a JRT?

If it were my DH, he would've been able to tell me all about the dog, including its name- and would have looked at me blankly when I asked whether the owner was a man or a woman. Ha!

LOL! He took Oban for a walk and that's all that clicked in his mind.

I would be ecstatic if my OH took any of the dogs for a walk. When I am out of town she calls in a dog sitter.

Too funny. My husband does the same thing. The best I can usually get from him is the size of the dog.

Lol that's cute! My OH knows some dog breeds but mostly just looks for koopoids to tell me he saw one.

(koopoids are dogs that have the same black and white pattern as Koopa : it's a scientific term :-P)

I have a DIL that's scared of Opie. OPIE?? Really? C'mon now.

Did the little dog have fur and did it bark or meow? Lol
