It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are.

It is amazing; I saw it, or something VERY similar, about a year ago, and was really impressed by the bird's ingenuity. Just not sure whether it's Corvus monedula or Corvus corone cornix, but I'd say it's the former; both are really clever, but the first one can do miracles, understand human speech, to a certain degree of course, and I've heard that some can even learn a few words. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool. Growing up, I always thought crows were some of the smartest birds out there. Apparently, crows have reasoning ability rival to five to seven year old children.
