    GS Did It Again!

He recently received a commendation for his high grades and dedication to JROTC.

Now he has been accepted to a week long JROTC event. They start at 6 AM and go all day. Cool things like rappelling and leadership training.

To top it off, he just got accepted to OCS (officer candidate school) for another week this summer.

All this and sandwiched in between is a trip to Disney World and a week long trip to DC we plan on taking him on. He's going to be one busy boy.

Congratulations to your Grandson! What an accomplishment. Takes true hard work and dedication. Definitely would be very proud and be giving him both fun and educational reward as well.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

    Congratulations! How very exciting!

My DH was JROTC/ROTC and went to Villanova on a full ROTC scholarship. Very good background, especially if he plans to go military. We did the Corps. Excellent. I have a great nephew who was also accepted into JROTC. Wonder if they'll be together? Wouldn't that be amazing.
