    GoPro Lab

Just picked up the GoPro 4 Black Edition camera yesterday and decided to try the dog mount out on Chopper. LOL... The things he puts up with from his Dad:

I tried the GoPro harness but it didn't work. It loosens up constantly. They need to put regular buckles on it that will stay when you snug them up like a regular harness.

It looks awesome though on your pup.

Looks like fun! My first thought was getting a movie of a dog's eye view water retrieve.

Is there a separate Go Pro accessory for dogs? Or did you use something else?

Yes, there is a new dog harness that GoPro recently released. I got the one with two camera mounts. Trying out the back mount next. Labs waddle so much at the shoulder that I think the back mount will work better. There additional ways to mount the camera like the chest mount.

    Please go to

Here's another great video about the mount:

Tighten the harness snugly so the strap stays tight. See the video. It is very helpful.

Thanks. I saw that video. That's my point, I snug it down tight but there is nothing to keep it tight. As the dog walks (and especially if the dog runs) it just loosens up. I've been looking around for some kind of clip that I might be able to add to hold the straps in place once tightened. If the straps would stay snug, it would be great.

Our Go Pro harness loosens up too. And putting it on the collar doesn't seem to work too well either. The other problem is that the camera belongs to my husband and he hasn't shared the software, so even though we've taken videos, I haven't seen anything to be able to fix anything.

He's getting me the Narrative for Christmas. I am going to put that on the dogs and see how that works, and the app will be on my phone, so I'll be sharing anything fun I get. (I am also going to use it to finally, once and for all, find out who's peeing in the house...)
