I cried more for my dog than my mother/brother/uncle put together....

You have had a very difficult year. I'm so sorry for all of the losses you've had.
2014 was a very difficult year for me/us too. DH lost his job (although he found a new one quickly). The new job caused us to have to move, which DD is still unhappy about, 6 months later. We lost a cat and a dog. It's been tumultuous, to say the least. I will not miss it when it's over.
I am really sorry.

Nan: I know how you feel. I lost my beautiful Lab Maxxie & my closest sister, Mindy with in 10 months of each other. Biggest losses of my life. But I think if I look at the face of Bobby the goof (Halcyon) for a couple of minutes, it makes me feel way better. that is one Happy dog

Here's to moving on to 2015. We lost Amy, Zoe and Ruthie in 2014. They lived long healthy lives, all with us, but time to move on. Im sorry for the loss you suffered, we were fortunate in that the "2 legged" part of our life was loss free.
