I took this photo, apparently just after the little guy made his big push to get out of the egg. The other three eggs are hatching (lots of fractures as the little ones work from the inside.
These are Eastern Bluebirds.

Lucky you to catch that. We have bluebirds but hardly ever see them. Some one closer took over the OH's self appointed box checking duties.
