    Toy box

So, we decided to get Mocha a box for all his toys. We are going to train him to put his toys away. I picked up ALL his toys and put them in the new box. Within 10 minutes Mocha had painstakingly removed all the toys and scattered them all over the family room. It was as if he was saying " I had those toys right where I wanted them"!

Yeah, I feel your pain. Same issue here, I put all the toys in the box, they just pull them all back out. Obviously I'm doing something wrong!!

Yeah, we tried that. Bobby destroyed the box. At least your box is still standing!

LMAO I had one dog that used to do that. He would go get the toy he wanted and when he was done he would put it back. It was awesome. I feel like I play 52 toy pick up everynight. If you figure it out please let me know how to teach this I would love to know.

I have used a basket for years. They are great at taking the toys out, but I've never gotten them to put any back.

Yeah, we have the toy box too and Archie is great at emptying it. The worse, picking up the toys to vacuum and Archie taking them out as fast as I'm putting them away.

Oh yes Daisy does that too! I read an article about using the clicker and clicking if they bring a toy back close to the toy box- so far Daisy just takes them out and never even comes close to bringing them back!!

I had a toy box for Sammy. He had tons of toys, scattered about... And everynight I pick them all up and put 'em in the box.... Next day.... and everyday... I decided to train him to pick up his toys and have him drop his toys in the box.... and then use a cue word to pick all of them up and put all of them in the box... He learned to "pick up" and to "drop" the toys in the box..... but never got to teach him the cue word.... Eh.... now it's nearly 10 years later.... He doesn't have the toys he used to have....
