    Christmas Village #5

    The holiday carnival has arrived.

Short video of the fun you can have.

Ah, here we are. Crisp, clear waterfall leads to the creek with great fishing. There's a father and son putting in their lines. Down in the canal, boats are available. The maple sap gatherers are busy at work.

A choice of very nice cabins are available.

If you prefer an even more natural setting, how about camping.

Up on the mountain, puma, wolves, elk, mountain goats and an eagle. Fire look out station to get up even higher and get a fantastic view.

Tiny cabin to camp out. Wouldn't you know it, just when you're not in the stand, a deer shows up. Canoe in the background for more adventure.

Tent camping but keep the food up high, bear abound. And of course, your trusty lab in the blind waiting to retrieve.

Hope you enjoy seeing the pictures as much as I enjoy putting this together.

    My holiday gift to all.

Such an unbelievable display! It must be fun to put together, if you have time to do so. I bet the grands love coming over and looking at all the parts of it and making up stories about what's going on and rediscovering things they'd forgotten about. Just like with Christmas tree ornaments you haven't seen for a year, it's always fun to pull them out and revisit the memories they hold. Thank you for sharing this with us!

That's incredible!! That's tons and tons of small houses and people and what not. No wonder it takes a couple days to set up. Unbelievable!!!

Wonderful, all of them, thanks for sharing. Just wish I could send you a pic of the one we have in a local church; it's really old and beautiful. They have two different themes, both are amazing, but you're not supposed to take pictures in there, and I respect their wish. It's large, it's got caves, mountains, fires, people and animals, and everything is hand-carved from wood, incredible craftsmanship. It's really impressive.

I just called the Chatham Inn B&B and booked the OH, myself and Oban in for next year. They say because it's run by PopTop they do take dogs. We can't wait to skate on the pond, ride in a horse drawn carriage and do some shopping. We'll take in some of the wilder attractions too and a climb up the fire tower is a must. Maybe we'll get an invitation to dinner at PopTops so I can sit at the fancy plate table too. Hint, hint.
