    Odd Couple

Saw this, thought I'd share. Sometimes animals do amazing things. Bonds runs strong in some.

Yea, he did. So much so, he stopped eating. Though we are told not to "humanize" animals, always good to be reminded they do have feelings.

Here's our Jake. Very gentle and always there to watch over his charges Amazes me as I look back at how he started. And the only feelings he was allowed to feel, pain and anger and fear.

Here's a better pic of our "Bunny Watcher", Jake. He always surprised me with his gentleness, as his start really could have turned him mean.

Goats are really smart and very emotionally connected. I always tell my husband that if either of ours passed, we'd have a real problem on our hands. I just don't know that the other would survive.

Goats need others, as herd animals, to feel protected. Agree, goats are very smart, and that's why when researching goats (my dream farm life, lol) it was advised to bring two home, as they thrive so much better with a group. But what's good is, like the video, the group doesn't have to consist of goats.
