Yes - just bare in mind it's omega 6, which is found in most oils and meat. Omega 3 is found in fish and fish oils.

Virgin olive oils have a lot of excellent properties; including major health benefits. I do give my dogs olive oil in their meals a few times a week; but they also get a lot of sardines, salmon, Pollock, etc.

I was wondering if it was ok or not to give olive oil to Spike because he is shedding like crazy. His skin looking much better. Coconut oil didn't really work for him.

I don't think olive oil will help with the shedding, especially since coconut oil didn't help (both omega 6). Try fish (salmon) oil instead (omega 3). If it's seasonal shedding, nothing will help

They have been getting fish oil every day since they were young for joint support. My dogs both have joint issues. I think it is a seasonal shedding but olive oil seemed to have helped.
