I would suggest speaking with an experienced breeder at your local Lab Club.

Hi, I'm new here. I have a 9 yr old AKC registered black lab from pointing lines- "Lucy's Little Rebel", Reb for short. His pedigree is full of champions and hard working hunters. He's a hard working retriever, but never had the nose for pointing. Large dog, over 100 lbs., beautiful breed conformation, and has sired one litter 5 years ago- 13 pups, all healthy, and all I've kept up with are wonderful dogs.
Old Reb is slowing down quickly and I would love to get a pick of the litter pup in return, no other fee. Please reply to this message if interested and i will forward more info.

Yup, we don't do that on here. Clearances are a must. You don't mention them. Reputable breeders mention clearances first.
