Sounds scary. Could just be some pain, but could also be a head injury. I'd be off to the vet asap just to be safe.
Thinking good thoughts for Ezzie.
Hey everyone. I am an aunt to a golden retriever. He is almost 2 years old. Today at the dog park he and a GS ran into each other. Ezzie (golden) gave a whimper then started gagging and some sputem came out of his mouth. Then we noticed his left ear the side where they bumped head was droopy and he keeps on shaking his head.
Any ideas of what could have hAppened?

Sounds like a hard hit. I too would be heading for the vet.
Please keep us updated.
Poor guy, sounds like he is in pain, id take him to the vet asap
Definitely would see a Vet. Hope Ezzie is OK! Please update.

You may want to see the vet. But if the hit to his ear was hard enough keep a eye out for a hematoma (blood filling up in the ear flap) and be sure to get to the vet for draining and possible steroids to bring the swelling down.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunatelt because the holiday ezzies primary vet was closed but i was updated myself and he is seeming to be feeling better with no more droop.
