    Introducing Frank

    Our new dog Frank joined the family today! He is super sweet. He already follows us everywhere. He even wraps his legs around us in a big bear hug and lays his head on our chest. We are quite smitten with him! Sam is not quite as accepting. We haven't had any incidents yet but we are keeping a super close eye on them. Sam has given Frank the stink eye a couple times and both dogs go into a high alert posture. A stern AH AH from us and clapped hands has diffused the situation so far. He still has to be neutered which we hope to get done soon. Once that happens, we hope Sam will be more accepting. I'm sure everything will be fine. They just need to get used to each other. Frank is super skinny. He only weighs 54 pounds. His backbone and hip bones are quite prominent. He is almost as tall as Sam and Sam weighs 86 pounds. Hopefully a few weeks of eating well will remedy that issue. He ate some random food that was donated to the rescue and they couldn't even give me the name of it. Maybe it wasn't in the original bag. They only sent me home with two cups of what he was eating so hopefully we can get him switched over without any tummy issues. I decided to put him on Pro Plan Select Sensitive Skin and Stomach. His skin is pretty flaky and he has some weird marks on his skin. His ears look like they have scars on them which is kind of strange. He ate his dinner quite enthusiastically so that was good. Anyway, without further ado, here's Frank!
