I just got one a year ago Dec. I wanted a heritage tat so I got a Soldado de Cuera with a skeleton face to reflect my ancestors in what is AZ & CA today from the Spanish colonial era.

What about something like a zipper opening up to an insignia of your old unit on your bicep?

Or zipper with it opening and a skull or whatever coming out of it like this:

How about just a zipper tab at the end of the scar!

Maybe it can be turned into part of a dog leash that ends up wrapped around your upper arm and lower arm. Throw on a dog tag that says "Chili"

Heh, as others mentions first thought I had was a zipper.

Could have like a needle and like a thick twine sewing up your scar.
