So, last night I decided on a name for this little lost puppy...Carver. He has been such an amazing little puppy. Last night was hard, it was the first night he spent in the crate and he was not particularly pleased. He barked a lot and every couple hours I took him out for potty. He did NOT potty in his crate and held it until I opened the back door, then he hopped down the steps to the grass and did all his business.

Carver is learning his boundaries from Sadie girl. She growls loud and long at him but still wags her tail the whole time. Eventually he figures out she doesn't want to be nursed(yeah, he thinks Sadie is momma even though she's not lol), her toes bitten, or her tail chewed and then backs down. They are doing great together.

He is just such a calm puppy so far. He even is doing great with the cats(both my two and my parents cats). He is curious but not forceful and does not lock onto them like they are prey. I'm hoping that he is so young I can acclimate him to all sorts of dogs and cats and scenarios. He does perfectly in the car. So far I let him sit on my lap, shortly he will go in the back seat with Sadie. He is wearing his collar well and not bothering it. All in all, this little boy is just about perfect. I know there is a LOT ahead of us and things will get worse before they are the way they needs to be. To be quite honest, Sadie girl has set the bar really high, she's just that good of a girl. But I feel like he could be a perfect match us, if his owners are not found.

Plus, I think my parents really hope I get to keep him because they have fallen in love for him too. He is already getting grand-dog spoiled just like Sadie girl.
