I also like to top Toby's dinner with a little something. Leftover meats, (chicken, turkey,) a little plain yogurt, some veggies. Maybe some Salmon. I also like the Wellness Core (grain free) canned food as a topper.

Have you tried mixing in an egg or salmon oil?
I make bone broth out of soup bones, turkey necks, and chicken feet. Let it simmer 24 hrs, cool enough to strain, and pick off the meat. THen I freeze it in ziplocs and when thawed, put it in a quart jar and refrigerate. I spoon about 2 TBs of it over kibble at each meal. They love it and it's supposedly really good for them.
Raw or cooked egg, cooked chicken breast, cooked ground venison, Wellness Core Grain Free canned, sardines, canned salmon, canned tuna and always veggies. Green beans every night, sometimes I also add a bit of cooked carrots, broccolli, sweet potatoes, etc. Cottage cheese and yogurt also.
