Puppy pic -- ZouZou is back -- and an important reminder for new puppy owners -- take more pix

new puppy owners ... IMPORTANT REMINDER ... You can't take too many puppy pics.

These doggies they only stay small for a very, very short time. It's fleeting.

As much as it can be exhausting and attention-grabbing, and you might feel like you need three sets of arms hands, try to take pics while they are small ... because, next week the probably won't be small much longer.

Yes Even if that new pup is a whirl of activity and constant motion, seemingly never stopping long enough to be photographed in anything but a blur.

ZouZou Zena was rescued from a kill shelter in Tennessee and brought to New York by NSAL, where we adopted her at about 16 weeks old ... so she was already kinda large for a puppy — they had moved her to the older/bigger puppy cages, where the too large for puppy cages/more slow-to-be-adopted dogs and pups go. How could that be?

She was so sweet and innocent looking (and of course she is) at least as innocent as an 85-percent lab mix, with a healthy dose of mischief making on her mind can be. Already staking a comfortable claim to the couch.

Impossible not to be lured in by her demure charms ...

    Great Advise.

ZouZou Zena is a lovely girl. Good for you for bringing her home. Look forward to watching her grow through pictures.

Great Advise. A lovely picture journal. To enjoy the memories of that pup, good and bad, lol. Have a few of them already, and already started with Lilly, my rescue Lab mix.

    One more pic before bedtime.

I don't think any of here toys from that time are still in service.
But what did I expect? A repeat of our previous pooch?
    Not happening.
    Each delectable doggie is unique.

Your girl is a sweetie; welcome. BTW, your advice about pics is excellent; you can never take too many, especially when they're puppies because it's just unbelievable how fast they grow
