    Buddy wont eat

Tried two different foods, finally cooked him a hamburger,
which he ate but then promptly threw up
He also has been drinking more water and is having a
difficult time getting up from laying down. He used to just
    have trouble laying down.
First available vet appt 1:40 !
I am so bummed at this change in his health since last
week, it was exactly one week ago we saw the vet for
    his senior visit and bloodwork.
Please send Buddy mojo, good thoughts and prayers !
    ********** UPDATE *************

Vet thinks pain, and managing it with the following :
sucralfate to coat the tummy, Pepcid, Gabapentin and
Meloxicam. Also the section on his back is some sort of
skin infection, warm compresses and Cefpodoxime.
check back in 5-7 days, or sooner if no better.
    Phew !

Good luck with Buddy. Hudler's having trouble. I am thinking about that harness you all were talking about on the other post. The one with the butt harness. He can't stand long enough to eat. I had to feed him laying down. I have a feeling we'll lose him this year too. I am going to call our mobile vet, she has a chiropractic and cold laser option we've thought about trying on Hud's poor legs.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”
