    Yellow Snow

Now that DH has blazed trails in the back yard so Mardi and Archie can move around more comfortably, Archie has taken to peeing on the banks of snow. New training challenge, maybe I'll try to teach him how to write his name.

OK, I've been stuck inside too long with the mess outside.

How much snow did you get? I heard your area was really whalloped. The further north the less snow and we only got 5 cm (2 inches) It blew around a lot though and there were some big drifts across roads.

Do you remember my thread BC about Oban learning to write his name? Oban says to tell Archie he wants to see his letters.

About 22 inches with huge drifts. The fence at the back of the yard is 8 foot and the drift is 3/4 the way up. I do remember your story about Oban. Archie needs to have a lesion from Oban.

    Too funny!

I was thinking we could shovel mazes and see if we could train the dogs to run them.

We did this one year (Bob used the snow blower in the back yard)....the dogs had a blast. Of course, Dan leaped over the 3' walls to lose himself in the snow from time to time.

And every time Dan pees, I think of pineapple snowballs (yeah...the ones you get in cups in the Summer). Not sure what that says about me.

Don't think I'll every ear a snowball again, no matter what the color!
