    That was a mistake.

Our local grocery store participates in a "Monopoly" game every year. You get one set of four game pieces per shopping trip to place on a game board which has 111 places. Additional games for all kinds of things including online codes etc. Then you get an additional set of four game pieces for each bonus item you purchase. Usually these are items that no one would buy or would buy in bulk. These items also go on sale as added incentive to buy them. I have never been able to put together any significant set of game pieces because of this.

    Until this year.

Sardines. They did sardines this year. One extra game piece per tin plus they're on sale. Until April. Four dogs and sardines. Hmmmm. I am so winning something.

It sounds like you are going to be a winner either way. I am sure the dogs will love you for all of the sardines!

I won $5 so far! All of the stores are out of sardines at the moment though (can't imagine how that happened) so I'll have to wait until the end of the week when they restock.
