I thought this was a follow up to the sundae party. Lol

We use the ole little garden shovel and a grocery bag.

I used to use old grocery bags, but they kept breaking which was a real pain so I started using freezer bags which are sturdier and relatively safe, especially when it's dark and you never know what you might hit when trying to scoop the poop (shards of all kinds, sharp sticks and stuff)

Newspaper sleeves (sometimes knotted on the bottom because of holes) and store-bought (those green ones with the handles formed out of the material).

We used to use a trowel and kitchen trash bag lined 5-gallon bucket to scoop the yard directly (when we had more dogs). With just these two, and no one pooping in the yard unaccompanied, we just use the bags as we do on walks....the bags all end up in a lined 5-gallon bucket except for those tossed into park trash containers.

Rake and pan type for a few reasons, 1. I'm farther away from the intended target, less chance for skin/gloves/clothing to poop contact, 2. I'm farther away from flying debris if the rake causes something to jump, 3. the pan can hold several poopers at once, 4. I can kind of put the leading edge of the pan under an edge of the poo if it's dried or frozen to the ground and nudge or kick the back of the pan slightly to encourage it to loosen up and slide into the pan.

Rake and pan for the back yard. The blade and pan is much better if you can find it. No annoying bits getting stuck to the rake.

I use those little bags on a roll for walks.

I use a Gravely 60" ZT mower! Of course we have a few acers!
Before the move we used the jaw type. We bought a small one when Mocha was little but found very quickly we needed a bigger set!
last winter we had so much snow Mochas business piled up on us. Once the snow melted we had a 3 garbage bag job on our hands, so to speak!
