Gauge and him were out playing in the yard chasing each other benelli found a sick and took off running Gauge tried to grab it and got his ear. Those bleed like crazy blood everywhere. I got him in and made a pressure bandage with gauze and some vet wrap it has now stopped. He only has a little nick thank god doesn't need stitches.

Ears bleed a LOT!

Oh I know lol!!! They play bitsy face a lot and I'm always worried about them biting a ear.

Poor Benelli. Glad you got it to stop; they bleed like crazy.

Had a Dalmatian with an ear flap injury and held him still using pressure on the flap until it stopped bleeding. Called and vet and she said that's all that needed to be done besides keeping it clean and using some Neosporin to keep the wound soft thus less itching and possible scratching.

Yep, have seen ear tears. It's great if you don't notice till they get inside and shake their heads. Not. Hope it heals up quickly.

I must say, as soon as I saw "stick" and "running" I thought you might tell us worse.

I was glad to see that stick and running wasn't worse!!!!

Sophie and Bruce play HARD. I honestly can't believe the way the teeth are flying I've had no blood yet.
