    Finding white hairs on Lilly..

Lilly is 5 months old & she's a mix. She's also 22.8lbs now! I found 3 white hairs on her so far (not from the cat, I gently tug them to see if they are, the cats white) while using the furminator on her. Two are below the chin near her neck & one is on the top of her head toward her ear.

My, it is so neat to be able to see these changes on her, every day I notice something new about her.

Oscar has some random white hairs on him that he's had since he was a puppy too. They change so much when they are little. Cherish it because before you know it Lilly will be full grown and you'll be wondering where you little puppy went!

Emma has a white patch on her chest and a few random white hairs on her belly and behind her front pads.

Oh I know, we just adopted her a month ago & she was 17lbs, could fit in my lap easy.. Now she really can't. LOL. Her energy levels gone up a lot as well. They grow so fast.. First puppy I've raised myself.

Our Lilly will be 7 months in 5 days. Definitely the energy level has gone up. She's got a little patch of white under her chin, as well as her chest. I see white hairs on the back of her legs as well. That could be from the mix, as she's a rescue also.

Your Lilly is lovely. Maybe that tiny patch of white under her chin will grow as she gets older? Would be interesting to see if it does. Enjoy the short span of puppyhood, because guess what, the teenage span is next. I think our Lilly is already testing the waters. But at any span, take lots of pictures.

My yellow puppy had three black hairs- two on her hip and one on her shoulder. I love black labs and my husband REALLY wanted a yellow, so I joke with him that she her fur is turning black. She is 7.5 months now and these just popped up about a month ago.
