    nail clipper with LED?

Call me crazy but after using some power tools with built-in LED lighting it seems like dog nail clippers could use these too.

Maybe I should write a letter to Dewalt tools?

    Partly joking, partly serious!

Anybody know if the "QuickFinder" really works? Two black labs with very black claws that just don't hint of the quick.
Hope all is well and have a great day

What a good idea. Oban is easy if I do him outside in daylight but inside I turn on all the kitchen lights and still there is a shadow somewhere hiding his nails.

Bilbo, this might help find the quick. Each nail looks a bit like a horse's hoof and the quick is like the frog. Oban is black. I just have to make sure I have light to see and a clean foot. REally good photos of quick here:

Oban's quick is not so pink as the photo. More dark grey but not black as his nail. I can see it.

LOL I know I have mentioned this before but I use once of those head lamps. You can almost see Hemi's eyes roll in his head when I go to the cupboard and strap on a head lamp and get the clippers.

I'll give the headlamp a try.

Although I still say DeWalt's power tool's with the LED is fantastic. It's like a spot light coming out of the drill bit or the circular saw blade.
