Ah, poor guy. He's lucky to have you guys, and I'm sure he knows it, too.
Most of you know Archie came from a questionable breeder. Due to pure neglect he has had to endure extensive dental surgeries. He's really turned around, wags his tail so much now, rolls over for a belly rub.
Today DH grabbed the fly swatter to get a bee that got in the house. Archie tucked his tail, crouched to the floor, slammed his ears against his head and slinked out of the room. Don't know what happened in his past to provoke this response but it could not have been good.
That's OK Archie, we'll work though this too.

Poor guy. Sounds like that "fly on the wall" saying might be too true for Archie.
Uh oh, I'd bet the swatter was used for something other than insects- poor boy! That makes me so sad to contemplate.
Chili is spending his 1st springtime sniffing bushes/flowers...all I could think about was all the bee's around and what would happen if chili got stung...
maybe he is allergic to bee's or worse their stings.
Poor Archie, it's good that he has a nice life now.
Poor Archie. It's awful to think what could have caused him to react. Glad he's with you now.
That is just sad, poor guy. I know you will fix him better!
Aww, poor Archie. DH should probably take him out for ice cream to make up for it
