I am so sorry to hear that she's in kidney failure. At this point, I'd try anything that may help.

I tend to agree. We lost Scully to kidney failure, but by the time she showed symptoms and was diagnosed, she was REALLY sick and there was nothing we could have done except buy her some time with subcutaneous fluids, so we chose to let her go. She was fine on a Friday, and suddenly refused to eat on Monday and her numbers were off the chart bad. Hopefully you’ve caught it earlier in your girl and you can get some more time with her. I can't speak to that particular product, but I find most of these formulations are for keeping the kidneys healthy rather than treating a chronic issue. For the best results, you really do need to speak with an holistic vet who is experienced in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

And make sure you don't fall into the trap of the low protein diet for her.

What she needs is good quality protein with a lower phosphorus content.

Im calling holistic vets today for an appointment. First thing is stabilizing her. i need to see her lab results to determine my choice of food. There are specifc levels im looking for. If she doesnt have uremia, i dont see the need for the low protein food. It is recommended in cases though when specific levels are elevated
