Camera/Computer Question

Technodummy strikes again!

In the past, when downloading pictures from the camera chip it went directly to a folder in My Pictures. Now it does not and cannot figure out why. It is downloading but the pictures are a pain to find.

What am I not doing right???

Where are they going?

Look in where they usually were going. Or see it there was a pop-up that you didn't see in the background. You can also do a search of files that were downloaded in the last day..

Check your programs to find the one for your camera. Something may have changed the settings you had for where the pics should go. You also want to check to see if there are any updates to that software. I've had mine switch before without my having done it deliberately. (if your software is set to check for updates automatically, an update may have changed things, too)
