Kong dog bowls. Hands down. They are stainless steel and indestructible. The rubber bottom keeps the bowls in place when the dog is eating or drinking. The dogs can't rip the rubber off of them.

What type of dog bowl do you use?
Metal, ceramic, plastic?
Years ago our vet told us to stay away from plastic bowls (Emmy had bumps under her chin & the vet thought it might be a reaction to the bowls), so we went with metal.
My DH made wooden stands for the bowls to sit in.
I think its time to replace them, but was wondering what everyone else was using.

A few years ago I found a really cute stoneware large drinking bowl that has alternating black/yellow/chocolate lab faces on it. That is what we are currently using.
Stainless steel slow feeder and stainless steel water bowl.
Large heavy crock for their drinking bowl and stainless steel with rubber on the bottom for food.

Stainless here, too.
Stainless with rubber on the bottom
Does anyone use the raised bowls? We have a set but they aren't that tall but now that Oliver is getting taller, I was thinking about getting even taller ones but not sure if it actually does benefit the dog or not.
Don't allow your happiness to be interrupted by overly judgmental people. The problem is not you, because even if you do good all the time, they would still find a way to judge you wrongly.
