I think it's quite nice.
I think the last time we painted our house was 15 years ago so it's been long overdue. I decided to do an accent wall but when I saw the paint going on I was terrified. I think it turned out really nice. The only thing I'm not sure about is the fireplace. The bricks were painted before we bought the house. Unless we go for an entire fireplace redo we're stuck with the painted brick. I decided to paint the fireplace the color of the other walls instead of the green of the accent wall. It's growing on me!

you can reface the fireplace using a stone veneer product if that is the look you are going for. It comes in pieces and you lay it right over top of the brick.

I like it! It's rough working with already painted brick. What you did is very nice. It sets off the picture very well.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Nice cut in lines too.
It looks nice. Question about painted brick on the fireplace. If you use the fireplace does the paint not flake off?
