My husband has been speaking quite a bit and likes to open with a joke. He's starting to run out so he made one up. It's pretty good. This is it:
My wife is always telling me that I don't listen to her so I decided to test her out and see if she listens to me. I stood behind her about 30 feet away and asked in a normal voice if she wanted to go to dinner. Nothing. I moved up to 15 feet and asked again. Nothing. I came up right behind her and asked again. She turned around and said, "For the third time, yes."
